Post-Flux
Digital Emergence. Digital Expectation.
Digital Friction. Digital Narrative.
The questions which will be investigated and evoked are related to the place of digital in art and in creative practice. One could say that the creative energy has moved from exploring the interface and navigating the virtual towards the articulation in the interrelations through social media ? Is there a genre called digital art ? Or is digital everywhere, hence requestioning practice and usage ? Emergence of new writings are in friction with expectations within artistic communities and by different audiences ?
The evolution of technologies are pushing the boundaries of affect ? or those existing do not fulfill art praxis and artists invent their own tools ? Where do authors’ rights stand in the picture ?
Questions. Dialogues. Conversations. Frictions.
Post- because one can post a contribution and participate in the conversations. Post- may also suggest post-digital, post-flux, … in terms of matters. Post-Flux will mean … let’s see what emerges in November 2009.
